Youth Coding and Robotics Class

About the event

This event will be a combination of Coding & Robotics!

For Ages 12-18

Our robotics & coding event (co-sponsored by our friends at Duke University) combines fun with the opportunity for kids and teens to build and engineer robots while learning AI, visual coding, and machine learning. Programs typically incorporate competitive challenges where kids and teens task their robots with specific actions.

If you’re going to learn how to code, why not pick up some of the most versatile and powerful programming languages on the planet? Learn the basics of Python, HTML, CSS, and Javascript to create fun web pages & applications.

Learn the basics of what goes on behind the scenes when designing and creating a webpages!

We can’t wait to see your curious kids in our environment for a creative coding adventure!

All you need to know:

• Expect to join 15-20 other youth in a safe and secure environment
• No experience required
• Crash Course:  Introduction to Robotics & Basic Computer Science Concepts
• Explore creative applications of web technologies
• Create exciting projects you can share with your friends
• Be ready to learn a new language.
• Bring your creativity, excitement, and curiosity.
