Exploring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

Inroduce your child to the exciting world of computer programming and wellness with our innovative 8-week program. 

 

We've partnered with Duke University Pratt School of Engineering to provide students ages 13-16 with the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of coding and design, while also promoting mindfulness and holistic well-being. At the end of the session, your child will have the chance to showcase their skills by creating a project envisioning a technology-enhanced wellness space at Knox St. Studios, with the chance to see their ideas brought to life! Students will learn the basics of programming, artificial intelligence, presentation skills, electronic circuits, biology, and physics in the context of creating for community enrichment.

 

  • Location: Duke University (Exact Location TBD)

  • Starting Feb 2023

  • Costs: Free

  • Ages: 13- 16 

  • No Previous Coding Experience Required

  • Notes: Students are responsible for their own transportation, snacks will be provided. 

  • 10 Slots Available

  • Attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged. Students may miss one session -  note that our program builds on previous sessions

You'll engage in hands-on, high-impact learning under the guidance of Knox Street Studios professional network partners and industry experts, exploring a challenging and exciting STEM Exploration and Learning interest to you.
