Community Code - AI Technology Focus!!

Knox St Studios Community Code program in partnership with Duke University Pratt School of Engineering LIFT Lab is thrilled to announce our upcoming free fall program for youth 13 to 16 years old, where we will be focusing on exciting AI technologies. We believe that these cutting-edge tools can provide valuable learning experiences for your children and prepare them for the future.

The fall program will be a 5-week after school program that aims to introduce your children to the world of artificial intelligence in a fun and interactive way. Using AI tools like Midjourney and ChatGPT, your children will have the opportunity to explore the possibilities of AI and its applications.

During the program, your children will engage in hands-on projects, problem-solving activities, and creative challenges that will harness the power of AI. They will discover how AI can be utilized in the creation of local community space. We will also be focusing on the ethical and responsible use of AI, ensuring that your children understand the importance of using AI tools for positive and constructive purposes.   A final project will pull together the learning for the students and they will present to community and local leaders.

Program Dates: September 18 – October 18, 2023

Meeting Days: Mondays and Wednesdays

Meeting Times: 5pm – 7pm

Meeting Location: Downtown Durham Public Library
