Knox Street Studios is bringing our Weekend AI Certification Sprint to Charlotte. Over one day — Saturday from 10:00 AM to roughly 5:00 PM — up to 20 Charlotte residents will earn the Google AI Career Certificate in an intensive, community-based format designed to get participants across the finish line together.
This isn't a self-paced online course. It's a focused, in-person weekend with facilitators in the room to help participants get unstuck in real time. In our recent cohorts, roughly 90 percent of participants complete the certification in the room over the day session — an outcome we don't see anywhere else in this space, where self-paced completion rates typically hover in the low twenties. What most people never finish on their own, we help you finish in a weekend.
What you'll leave with:
A completed Google AI Career Certificate, a peer network of 24 other Charlotte residents who went through the weekend alongside you, and a foundation for continuing to build with Knox Street beyond the certification itself.

We've already run this format successfully in Greensboro and Winston-Salem — in Winston-Salem in partnership with Goler Community Development Corporation, where the results have been strong enough that our partners there are actively exploring making this a recurring offering. Charlotte is the next chapter of that work.
